The Spanish Quevedo has fulfilled a dream: he has released his first album

Ten years ago, a boy from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) dreamed that everyone around him in bus (collective) they listened to a Canarian artist on headphones, whose music was played on the radio, in the supermarket and at the time out of basketball.

Spaniard Pedro Quevedo has more than fulfilled all those dreams and is now aiming for an even bigger one, that of breaking records with Where I want to be

after becoming from the Argentinian manufacturer Bizarrap with Stay (Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol.52) As the first Spanish artist to lead worldwide downloads from Spotify, as well as charts such as Billboard Global 200 or Los 40, Quevedo releases this Friday (January 20) his first album, where i want to bewith a major challenge.

He tells it himself, at the hands of his compadre Cruz Cafuné, in the speech that introduces the fifteen songs of his first album, already listenable on the main platforms: “I dreamed that a canary brought out the record of the year.”

Full of references to his island and his city (LPGC, you know), the album contains some songs already advanced as singles, such as english beachwith Puerto Rican Myke Towers, or Sea-viewbut also twelve unreleased songs to date, which include collaborations with artists such as the Spanish Omar Montes (Give me) and JC Reyes (Wrist).

“What I try to show with this album is how I search and find where I want to be, both geographically and in terms of my career,” Quevedo explains to his Instagram followers.

The 21-year-old rapper acknowledges that everything went very quickly in his life after hits like Night fellcollaborations such as the one aroused by the British Ed Sheeran (2 steps) and especially, since the bombing of his collaboration with Bizarrap in the famous session 52.

“Even when I’m realizing dreams, goals and objectives, sometimes I don’t have time to enjoy them and set others. I hardly have time to keep dreaming“, he confesses on social media.

At the moment, one of the songs on the album, english beachappears this Friday in fifth place in Spotify’s Top 50 Spain list, where it also follows remainfour steps below.

On another of the global platforms, Amazon Music, Quevedo places two songs in the top ten this Friday today’s hits (english beachsixth, e Sea-viewninth), to which is added the session with Bizarrap in position 17.
