“Disenchanted” gets premiere date with new photo of Amy Adams as Giselle; see – Publicity/Disney

Disney released on its social networks, last Tuesday (17), a never-before-seen image of “Disenchanted” starring Amy Adamswhich reprises the role of Giselleand Maya Rudolph (“Gente Grande”), whose role has yet to be revealed. But, just by the image, it is already possible to notice that the actress will be able to live the Evil Queen of the plot.

The caption of the post invites the viewer to see the first glimpses of the sequel to “Enchanted”, and even guarantees that its premiere will take place on North American Thanksgiving, that is, on November 24th. Check out:

In development since 2010, the plot of “Disenchanted” should be set 15 years after the first film, released in 2007, when Giselle begins to question his “happily ever after” with Robert (Patrick Dempsey) and ends up triggering life-changing events for everyone, both in the real world and in Andalasia.

In the story of “Enchanted”, Robert was the romantic interest of Gisellewho is banished from the magical kingdom of Andalasia to New York by the Evil queen (Susan Sarandon), before she manages to marry the Charming prince (James Marsden). Upon arriving in town, she ended up falling in love with the lawyer and they were together building their own family.

Besides Adams and Dempsey, marsden and Idina Menzel also return for the sequel reprising their characters. For those who don’t remember, menzel lived nancythe girlfriend of Robert before Giselle appear in their lives unexpectedly. At the end of the feature, the couples switch and she flees to Andalasia with the principle of marsden.

Gabby Baldacchino will give life to Morgan in adolescence. Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown (“Community”) and Jayma Mays (“Smurfs”) round out the cast. Adam Shankmanfrom “Um Amor Para Recordar”, assumes the direction of the project.

“Disenchanted” will be shown exclusively on Disney+.
