The third edition of Bariloche International Music Festival (FIMBA) ended with a level of quality and variety of proposals. As part of Camping Musical, the last evening was the protagonist of the Polish virtuoso pianist Anna Miernikthe Río Negro Philharmonic Orchestra that ventures and surprises the rhythm of the “trap” and the participation of the Musical Youths, a concert in which the Bariloche Youth Camera was together with the exceptional Jorge Calderari Y Stanimir Todorov.
For five evenings, and with more than twenty shows, the Festival offered an ensemble of international and national musicians. And so it was possible to enjoy the art of Toquinho, Adrián Iaies, the Uruguayan Ana Prada, Baglietto-Vitale, Opus Cuatro, among others. The Prada concert was held together with local singer-songwriter Pepa Díaz, who presents her second album “find peace “. And there was a valuable and significant contribution from musicians from the region such as Leopoldo Caracoche (he opened the cycle together with guest artist Carlos Aguirre), the young beggar Tobi Delezor and the trio Rodrigo Domínguez, Santiago Rapoport and Diego Beveraaggi. Delezor played with the Ensamble Ventisquero Negro string quintet at the Teatro La Baita.

Miernik’s recital was one of the high points for closing. A soloist and chamber music performer, the Polish pianist has performed in nearly 40 countries, including famous venues such as the Sydney Opera House. Trained at the Krakow Academy of Music, his first solo album included sonatas by Brahms and Franck. One of the milestones of his career is the recording of a CD with songs by Feliks Nowowiejski, which had never been performed in public. And they were based on manuscripts kept in the Raczynski Library in Poznan.
