Evolution of COVID-19

Quebec also listed 1,649 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the number of confirmed cases in Quebec to 1,041,075 since February 2020.

However, the number of cases identified does not represent the situation, as access to screening centers is only possible for groups considered priority.

The Department of Health, which reports 1,042 active outbreaks, reports 18,291 tests conducted for a positivity rate of 12.2%.

Vaccination

So far, 87% of Quebecers ages 5 and older have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, and 54% have received a third dose, according to data from the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services.
