Exit of deputies Juntas and Nupes

In a sign of protest, the Nupe deputies then left the chamber followed by a large part of the elected representatives of the presidential majority, an AFP journalist said.

“It is scandalous to have such practices,” reacted Hélène Laporte del Perchoir.

On leaving the chamber, the deputy for Insoumis, Manuel Bompard, justified this outburst by the fact that no other group in the Assembly would have had, according to him, the free time to allow two different speakers to express themselves on the same amendment.

Hélène Laporte “has a way of exercising the presidency in a very partial way and that intends to benefit the group from which she comes”, she launched to the press, denouncing “unacceptable practices”. The session was suspended after the intervention of Marine Le Pen.
