In his profile on social networks, he shared some photos on the field and wrote an emotional text, where he showed all his sadness with the elimination of the Brazilian team.

“I cried on the field, I cried in the locker room, I cried alone on the plane, I cried when I got home and I will cry whenever I think about how close we were… The worst day of my life, without a doubt. I am so sad”, he began.

Then he opened up about how he feels: “I wrote and deleted this text a few times. Words are missing to explain the frustration, but tears remain. The smile is gone and I need some time to find it again”.

When trying to think positive he talked about the future: “But I love football and it will give me new opportunities to put Brazil where it really deserves: at the top. God’s plans are bigger than ours. We will come back stronger than ever.”

Finally, the player apologized for not having won the title and promised victory in the next World Cup, in 2026.

“Brazil, a thousand apologies. We failed at the important moment and let you down, sorry… Thank you all for your support and affection. You were great! Brazil united will conquer Hexa in 2026. Write it down”, finished.

Neymar pronounces on the defeat of the selection: “Psychologically destroyed”

Neymar Jr. (30) also spoke this Saturday, the 10th, about Brazil’s defeat against Croatia, which resulted in the team’s disqualification from the World Cup. On Instagram, the player vented that he is psychologically destroyed and thanked his teammates for their support and dedication.

“I’m psychologically destroyed, this was certainly the defeat that hurt the most, which made me paralyzed for 10 minutes and then I burst into tears nonstop.
