World surprise: Ronaldinho returns to football to play in the league created by Piqué and Ibai

Former Brazilian player Ronaldinho will be the 12th Porcinos FC player in the “League of Kings” this Sunday February 26th at the Cupra Arena, as announced Gerard Pique and Ibai Llanosthe creators of the 7-a-side football championship that is all the rage in Spain, Mexico and Argentina, through an amusing video on social networks.

The long-awaited news of Ronaldo de Assis Moreira’s name, Ronaldinho, was announced tonight by youtuber Ibai Llanos in a live broadcast with Piqué which -according to the EFE news agency- was followed by more than 600,000 people despite the Brazilian’s name having already been leaked previously.

The FC Barcelona legend was very motivated in the interview: “We will have fun, it will be nice. I am very happy, thanks for the invitation. Have fun”.

Ibai Llanos is known internationally for his internet videos, in which he plays video games and interacts with the 12.5 million followers he has on his Twitch channel.

He also gained notoriety after his alliance with former footballer Gerard Piqué to create the “Kings League”, a non-professional football competition that is broadcast on Twitch and which brings together internet personalities and retired players such as Iker Casillas, Joan Capdevilla or the Mexican Javier “Chicharito Hernandez.

How to watch Ronaldinho in the Kings League

The 7-a-side football league created by Piqué and Ibai broadcasts matches live every Sunday through their Twitch channel. The duel between Porcinos, the team where Ronaldinho will play this Sunday, and Pio FC (its president is the Mexican streamer Rivers) will start at 17:00 in Argentina and will end on matchday 8 which will start at 12:00.
