Argentine national team friendlies confirmed: La Scaloneta will play against Australia in Beijing and against Indonesia in Jakarta

The Argentine national team, world champions in Qatar 2022 led by the already legendary Lionel Messi, will return to Asia next June to play a couple of friendlies. They will be against Australia in Beijing and against Indonesia in Jakarta, as confirmed by the Argentine Football Federation through its social networks on Monday.

Four days later, on 19 June, Argentina will face Indonesia in Jakarta. They will be the last two tests for the team led by Lionel Scaloni before the first ever in the United States, Canada and Mexico 2026 World Cup Qualifiers.

La Scaloneta will preview his title of world champion in an official match when he receives Ecuador at the Monumental stadium. After the debut against the Italian flag, Messi and company will visit Bolivia at La Paz. The two matches will be played from 4 to 10 September.

The qualifiers will continue with four more dates. For the third day, in October, they will receive Paraguay and a few days later they will go to Lima to face Peru. Finally, in the last window of 2023, in November, it will be local to Uruguay and will visit Brazil.
