Ukraine will play a friendly match against German club Borussia Mönchengladbach on May 11 to prepare for their World Cup playoff against Scotland, the Ukrainian Football Federation (AUF) announced in a statement on Friday.

The duel will take place at the Borussia Park stadium in Mönchengladbach. The AUF expressed their “gratitude” to that club and said the match represented “an important element” in preparing for the playoffs for the World Cup in Qatar-2022 (November 21-December 18).
