The “Tango D10s”, the first airplane to pay homage to Diego Armando Maradona with photos appearing plotted throughout its structure, was unveiled this Wednesday and its creators are excited for it to reach the 2022 Qatar World Cup .

At the exhibition, held at the Morón airport, in the town of Castelar, were present Dalma and Gianinna Maradona, as well as some of Diego’s former teammates on the Argentina National Team that was declared champion in Mexico in 1986.

As they expected in an official statement, all “attendees can leave a recorded message in the cabin to take Diego to heaven “.

The event was led by John Paul Sorin and Agustina Casanova, while the opening music was directed by Juanse, who sang the song she dedicated to El Diez: forever diego. In addition, Valeria Lynch, interpreter of the song marked by fire at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico (you give me more every day) also had his participation in music.

The ‘Maradona Plane’, with ten seats, is decorated with the colors of the Argentine flag, light blue and white, and on its sides there is a picture of Diego kisses the World Cup and another allusive to the iconic ‘hand of God‘of the goal against England, both painted by Argentine muralist Maximiliano Bagnasco.

Its interior is completely decorated with Maradonian objects. In addition, it is equipped with a system that enables voice and photo interaction de Pelusa, who died November 25, 2020.

The initiative is owned by fintech company Give and Get, whose executive director, Gastón Kolker, explained that, in the first phase, the plane will only serve to perform private flights within the territory of Argentina.

However, the plan is to “take it to Mexico, Naples, Dubai and all places that became symbols in Maradona’s life“, He acknowledged. Then, it will fly to Qatar for the World Cup and, finally, it will be auctioned off to support NGOs, according to the company.

For her part, Giannina did not hide her happiness: “We are very excited, we are so happy to witness this moment“.

His sister, Dalma, pointed out: “He would have liked to, we are here to represent him. This is not just any plane for us or for the fans. We can’t believe this madness, their love for him above all elsenice”.
