Mexican Sergio Pérez won the third F1 race of his career on Sunday, this time on the streets of Monte Carlo after a race interrupted by rain, which was stopped after 2 hours as set by regulations. .

The rain came on the rocks 8 minutes from the start of the race. Heavy rain forced the organizers of this 79th edition to delay the start by 69 minutes.

The F1s started the Grand Prix in the back of a safety car, on a wet track. The rain stopped, and the rail gradually dried up, allowing the pilots to replace their rain tires for smooth tires.

The Red Bull team played their cards well, and in the game of pit stops, allowed its drivers to pass in front of the Ferrari drivers, starting from the first row of the grid.

An F1 single-seater is negotiating the hairpin of the Monaco circuit, on a wet track.

Pérez was able to maintain command with Carlos Sainz Jr. in his mirrors in the last 30 minutes of the race. Max Verstappen finished just behind Sainz junior, with Charles Leclerc in his exhaust.

Ferrari and Red Bull drivers graduated with a handkerchief, after a superb driving demonstration.
