Sebastián Battaglia is no longer the TD of Boca. The news was released on Wednesday evening, through a press release. And it happened 24 hours after the elimination of Xeneize in the round of 16 of the Copa Libertadores against Corinthians.

On Wednesday morning, the former footballer visited the club’s training ground in Ezeiza to greet the team and conclude his farewell. After saying goodbye to his former managers, the former coach of Xeneize calmly walked along the path leading to the exit of the sports complex with his assistant, Juan Krupovesa, and the physical trainer, Zacarías Gaggero. Battaglia got into his white Mercedes truck and drove from the beach to the exit. Y again he braked gently to take care of the press, as he did yesterday when he walked into a much more nervous cellphone. The man who was Boca’s best player was calm, with a beautiful face. So much so that he decided to get out of his car to chat with reporters.

“I have always been very loyal”, was one of Battaglia’s phrases in front of the microphones, careful to take care of the shapes and trying not to generate controversy regarding his dissociation from the institute. The now former coach said he was not given any explanation on the decision, although he thanked the management, led by Juan Román Riquelme, for giving him the opportunity to lead the team.Developing
