Xiaomi 13 Pro: features
At first glance, the The Xiaomi 13 Pro screen remains unchanged. While the previous version -Xiaomi 12 Pro- had a 6.73-inch screen, this new version has almost identical specifications. These include a 120Hz variable refresh rate since this is an LTPO panel, 1440 x 3200px resolution, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG, and 1920Hz DC dimming versus aggressive PWM.
The screen also has a ambient color temperature sensor which allows you to adjust it on the fly.
The only update is advertised peak and maximum brightness. The new 13 Pro’s display lights up its entire surface at 1,200 nits, while boosting peak brightness when playing HDR video, for example, can reach 1,900 nits.
As for the cameras, the Xiaomi 13 Pro once again features a 50 MP triple module on the back, but with notable improvements. The famous 1-inch 1.6 µm Sony IMX989 sensor of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra is now combined with a German brand Leica lens with an aperture of f/1.9 and Hyper OIS.
The telephoto lens also gets a solid upgrade. It’s 50MP again but with a range of 3x additional zoom and a Leica floating lens element, but with a slightly smaller f/2.0 aperture. The amazing thing is that it has a focus distance close to only 10 cm.
In turn, the ultra-wide-angle lens doesn’t have any fancy new technology: 50 MP with f / 2.2 focal aperture, 14 mm with macro support, which means that AF is also in the menu.
The battery increases slightly to 4820mAh and is paired with Xiaomi’s Surge G1 chip which allows a 120W safe wired charging and 50W wireless charging. There’s also the usual 10W reverse wireless seen in the latest version.
Other features include Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers with new Dolby head tracking function, IR blaster and of course IP68 dust and water protection which is a new addition to Xiaomi’s main flagship series.
The device enters four colors: white, black, green and a kind of blue leatherette and not ceramic. While the camera module is now square with oval corners.
Xiaomi 13: features

However, the OLED panel features the peak and maximum brightness similar to 13 Pro: 1200 and 1900 nits, respectively.
Even the camera setup on the back gets the Leica treatment on all of their cameras. The main unit is 50 MP, f/1.8, 23mm, 1/1.56″, 1.0µm and Hyper OIS.
This version features a 10MP OIS-assisted hardware image stabilization, Leica lens camera, f/2.0 aperture, and 3x native zoom. While the ultra wide angle is now 12 MP with an aperture of f/2.2, probably without autofocus support.
The configuration of the battery it’s also the same: a 4500mAh cell capable of 67W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.

Unlike the Pro, the vanilla version makes do with a standard glass back and is available in black, light green, light blue, gray and white.
There are also available more bold colors– Red, yellow, green and blue, but only the blue option is leather, just like the Pre. And while the rear camera island design is identical to the 13 Pro, the Vanilla 13 is distinguished by a flat, glossy side bezel with iPhone-like vibes.
