A realtor, II. It has put up for sale a 28,000 m² underground bunker used by Nazi officers during the occupation of British territory during World War II.
According to the British Daily Star, the so-called “Hitler’s Bunker” in Alderney in the British Isles contains trenches, a gun station and cannons and can be purchased for around R$260,000.
Real estate agency Bell & Co. described the “historic, open space, built between 1942 and 1944, as the Germans occupied during World War II.
The company also claims that this is a rare chance to see what D-Day will look like from a German perspective, and an “incredible opportunity to have history” of the conflict.
Property manager Andrew Eggleston hopes the new owner will keep the underground bunker open to the public, as has been done by the current owners for years.
“It would be a shame if someone buys it and locks it with a padlock,” the man told the Daily Star. The property will be sold based on a confidential bidding process, with a deadline for bids until 9 December.
