A jury in Virginia, USA, continuing Johnny Depp’s defamation case against his ex-wife Amber Heard saw a series of embarrassing photos displayed during the trial, along with the photo of the actor totally drugged, with ice cream thrown on the body.
The sequence was provided by Amber Heard’s defense and they insisted on showing the actor was addicted to drugs and drunk.
Another more provocative image, from 2013, seems to show a glass of whiskey, lines of cocaine, more drugs and a Keith Richards CD placed on a table.
The “Pirates of the Caribbean” star admitted in questioning in the Fairfax courtroom that the photos were taken during “He fell off the wagon.”

When asked if he drinks whiskey in the morning, Depp replied: “Isn’t it happy hour ever?”provoked laughter in the gallery.
Depp, 58, filed $ 50 million against Heard, 35, alleging he defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which he did not name it but described himself as victim of domestic abuse.
Heard’s lawyers argue that Depp physically and sexually abused the “Aquaman” actress, and say his denials are unbelievable because he often he was too drunk or on drugs to remember what happened.

His lawyer showed the jury a series of text messages Depp sent to his friends over the years, including a June 2013 exchange with his actor friend Paul Bettany in which Depp wrote: “Let’s burn Amber !!!! “

“Let’s drown him before we burn him !!!” Depp said in a follow-up text. “F- -k burned his body afterwards to make sure he was dead.” During cross-examination, Depp has repeatedly denied physical abuse of Heard.
After undated footage of the couple’s fight in the kitchen of their West Hollywood home was shown to the jury, Depp said: “I broke some cabinets, but I didn’t touch Miss Heard.” In the video, Depp is seen rattling cabinets, throwing things and pouring a glass of wine.

“I didn’t try to scare Miss Heard. . . If he’s so scared, why doesn’t he just leave? “Depp said on the stand. After fighting with Heard on a flight from Boston to Los Angeles, Depp again exchanged a text message with Bettany, saying he was going to “Stop drinking.”
“I drank all night before I picked up Amber to fly to Los Angeles on Sunday … Ugly, pare … No food for a few days … Powders … Half a bottle of whiskey, a thousand red bulls and vodka , pills, 2 bottles of Champers on the plane, ”Depp wrote in the caption.

Jurors heard Depp send Heard an apology message after the flight.
“Sometimes, I find myself in a place of shame and regret. Of course, sorry. . . But I will not repeat. I want to improve for you. And for me. I need. Somehow my pain came in and grabbed me. “said the message.

Depp had previously testified that he had used recreational drugs with famous friends in the past, including Marilyn Manson, and that he had even tried to take pills from Manson’s assistant on a trip to Australia in 2015.
When asked if he made cocaine with Manson, Depp said, “We made cocaine together maybe a few times.” He then joked: I once gave Marilyn Manson a pill so she wouldn’t talk too much..
The jury was also shown a photo in 2014 that Heard took of Depp “dying” on a sofa in Boston with ice cream on his clothes.

Depp testified that the photo was taken after he worked a 17 -hour shift and take opioids. He said Heard gave him the ice cream because “he knew” he would sleep on it.
“If you notice, I have my right hand in my pocket, so I’m not participating in the ice cream festival,” he added.
“That was a beautiful picture he took,” Depp added. When Heard’s lawyer asked if Heard was at fault for taking the photo, Depp replied, “Well, she took it.”

Depp objected to the lawyer describing him as “dead”.
“‘ Erasing ’is an interesting way to put it,” he said. “Slept?”
Heard’s lawyers are trying to derail Depp’s defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife after it wrote a 2018 Washington Post op-ed that says Depp slandered him and ruined his lucrative acting career.
Depp was heard not directly accused of domestic abuse in the article. But Depp said Heard was really the aggressor in their relationship.
His lawyers insisted he could not deny what happened because he often did drunk and drugged until fainting.
