It is known that a kindergarten teacher in the United States complained to his parents about an unpleasant smell to a student who brought a lunch box containing kimchi.

According to the US Next Shark on the 17th (local time), an article raising the question of ‘Am I a bad person?’ was posted on Reddit, a large online community. The person who posted this article is presumed to be a mother of a 5-year-old child and a Korean.

In this article, a Korean mother said that she packed a spam lunch box with kimchi and cheese for her son’s lunch. And after school, the kindergarten teacher revealed that she had called to complain about her son’s lunch.

The teacher called her child’s lunch box “disgusting” and asked her not to pack a lunch box containing kimchi. The teacher said that her child’s lunch box “interfered with other students’ meals and smelled unpleasant.” In response to the teacher’s sudden phone call, the Korean mother said, “It was a rude and irritated tone. When I told her not to pack a disgusting and inappropriate lunch box, she felt bad,” she explained.

Previously, the Korean mother claimed to have maintained a friendly relationship with the teacher. She is known to have replied, “I made a lunch box to suit my son’s eating habits, who like kimchi,” and said, “I can’t change my son’s eating habits.”

In response to her response, the teacher said, “Don’t bring your child’s lunch any more,” and the conflict continues.

The article, which is believed to have been written by a Korean mother, received more than 22,000 likes and more than 5,000 comments. Many netizens accused the teacher of being racist.

One netizen said, “Report it to the director immediately,” and said, “This is an obvious act of racism.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first time such racial discrimination has occurred in a preschool in the United States. Last year, a Chinese child’s lunchbox had an ‘unpleasant smell’, and the child ate alone during lunchtime.
