A day of shopping with Georgina Rodríguez is not a day of shopping like any other. In the second season of I’m Georgina -recently released on Netflix-, Cristiano Ronaldo’s wife reveals the details of her long shopping days, including how much she usually spends every day she goes out.
The purchase in question takes place in an idyllic setting: a holiday on the Italian island of Sardinia. The reason: The influencer needed a bathing suit for the beach.
“When he goes shopping, there is no limit. You can have anything you want,” she said. Mamen Morales, one of his closest friends. Cristiano, of course, also usually gets the part of him.
When the 29-year-old model goes to the cash register to pay, the attendants tell her how much she spent. The initial figure was 27,515 euros ($30,162), which later dropped a bit when the model dropped some clothes.
“I went to buy a little dress for the beach and in the end I got half the shop… Now tell me how much of a joke that is,” Georgina says before walking over to the counter.
One color fact: every time Rodríguez buys clothes, he doesn’t try them on on the spot. She does it at home to find out in her privacy how they look at her.
luxury gift
In recent days, with the excuse of the premiere of her series, Georgina has given a very special gift to the Spanish TV presenter bethlehem esteban. The present is in line with what the model can spend in a day of shopping.
“I’m super nervous, look what they sent me today. I’m super nervous about what might be inside,” Esteban says in a video while holding up a huge black box.
After opening it, the presenter reads a letter from Rodríguez: “Today I want to send you one of the bags created from the promotional canvas for the second season of ‘I’m Georgina’. They are unique and unrepeatable, like all of us. I hope you take it with you proudly and make it part of your collection.
What is striking is that a bag like the one that Cristiano’s wife gave to her friend can cost thousands of eurosconsidering that there are only 100 in the world and that Rodríguez usually sports six-figure bags…
A strong relationship
Georgina, born in Argentina but raised in Spain, met the footballer while working at a Gucci store in Madrid.
She and Cristiano started dating in 2016, but confirmed their relationship a year later. Together they have two children, Alana Martina and Bella Esmeraldatwin of a deceased child.
Not only does Georgina star in a series about her life, but she has other personal plans as well. In 2021, for example, she debuted as an entrepreneur for her own clothing brand, OM By G.
She also owns a hair transplant business with her husband and has been supporting the Nuevo Futuro Foundation since 2017, helping children in troubled family backgrounds.
