Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for providing long-range missiles to his country.

On the 1st (local time), President Zelensky said on his social network service (SNS), “I paid attention to the recent delivery of ‘Storm Shadow’ long-range missiles to Ukraine.” The missile helps Ukraine win (against Russia).”

The Storm Shadow is a long-range cruise missile jointly developed by Britain and France with stealth capabilities.

The range is over 250km. Although the missiles reach the Russian mainland, Ukraine has pledged to use them only to strike Russian military targets in Russian-occupied eastern territories and the Crimean Peninsula.

“I informed Prime Minister Sunak of the situation on the front line. In order to protect the Ukrainian people and civilian infrastructure, we need to build an air defense network in our city.” did,” he explained.

Meanwhile, the two had a bilateral meeting at the European Political Community (EPC) summit held at Bulboaka Castle, located in Chisinau, Moldova, about 19 km from the border with Ukraine.
