Just days after experiencing the worst moment of their lives, the Spanish couple attacked in India have revealed the details of the brutal attack they suffered in Dumka. Fernanda, the raped Iberian influencer, said it she thought they were killing her and provided harrowing details from that moment.
“We thought they were going to kill us, we were sure of it. They told us they would kill us“, Fernanda said in statements to the Spanish media Cope.
The woman said when they were approached she tried to contact emergency services but knew how to explain where they were. “When I came out of the shop, I saw someone with a knife and grabbed the pickaxe. But they grabbed my jacket and started pulling my hair. Even today my hair falls out when I comb my hair,” she said.
Fernanda did not avoid providing details of that traumatic moment and specified: “They took off my clothes, took turns and stayed there for almost three hours. I lost count… I was asking about Vicente, if he was okay… After this time someone gives me some clothes and tells me to get dressed. But he turns around and rapes me again.”
So far they are eight arrested for the brutal attack. Fernanda and Vicente, her partner, assured that “they were not a gang of criminals”, and described them as “simple and uncultured people”, with whom they had met hours earlier.
“They destroyed their lives and ours. Theirs because now they will never leave prison again and ours because of what they did to us”, remarked the attacked woman.
The couple, who had been traveling for several months to visit Asian countries, had set up a tent near a police station in Dumka district to spend the night last Friday when a group of men attacked them around midnight.

“We have given compensation of one million rupees (about $12,000) to the husband. We are conducting a thorough investigation and will try to ensure a speedy trial and conviction,” Anjaneyulu Dodde, deputy commissioner of Dumka district, told the media. in the northern state of Jharkhand, where the attack occurred.
Then both left with the custody of their motorcycles towards Nepal.
