The prosecutor of a province in southern Italy has launched an investigation into war crimes allegedly committed by Russia during its invasion of Ukraine.
The investigation was launched by the Prosecutor’s Office in Bari after the European Union Agency for Cooperation in Criminal Justice (Eurojust) asked the Ministries of Member States to “protect and analyze the evidence concerning crimes against humanity committed in Ukraine”. .
