Vladimir Andonov had arrived in Ukraine on the orders of Vladmir Putin.

The Russian publication Moskovsky Komsomolets reported his death. “It became known about the death in Ukraine of Vladimir Andonov, better known as Vaha. He died last night while scouting the area together with his friend, “he continued, adding that Andonov was most likely killed by a sniper,” they explained.
Vladimir Andonov was killed on 5 June in eastern Ukraine.
Andonov was known by the Russians as “Vakha” or “the Buryat volunteer” because of the region he came from, while the Ukrainians called him “The executioner” because of the massacres in which he participated.
The mercenary of the Wagner Group, Putin’s loyal private military company that has taken part in various bloody missions around the world, is believed to be included in the Ukraine-run “Peacemaker” database, which lists all Russian military crimes.

Andonov has also participated in other campaigns in Syria or Libya. He was last seen in Ukraine shortly after the war began on February 24th.
Andonov was recruited into the Olkhon Special Forces Company fighting in the Donbas and took part in the Battle of Debaltseve in early 2015.

After the Donbas War, the mercenary disappeared for a long time. He and he returned to the battle change in Ukraine, where he was shot down this Sunday.

Russia continues to add casualties to the military high command. Russian general Roman Kutuzov died on the Ukrainian front during a clash in the eastern Lugansk region, the Ukrainian military reported on Monday in a message on their Facebook account. Kutuzov was killed near the city of Popasna, which was heavily bombed by troops sent from Moscow in recent days.
“The commander of the 1st Orc Army Corps (as Ukrainians call Russian soldiers and their allies) of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Major General Roman Kutuzov, has been officially denazified and demilitarized,” says the military message with a wink. Russia said it invaded Ukraine to “denazify and demilitarize” the country.
